In a public swimming pool, water treatment must operate reliably day after day. Especially during peak season, with high visitor numbers or changing weather conditions, there is little room for interruptions, caking, or unnecessary handling effort. When dosing runs reliably, an important part of pool operations is secured.

When choosing a disinfectant, not only the active substance matters, but also its form. Calcium hypochlorite has been proven in swimming pool water treatment for many years. For practical use, however, the key factor is how well the product can be handled, dosed, and integrated into existing systems.

AQUEA White Pearls HC brings proven calcium hypochlorite in a form specifically designed for professional pool operations. The high-quality granules are produced using an extrusion process, resulting in a uniform, low-dust product with excellent flow properties.

The advantages become clear in day-to-day operations. The granules are clean to handle, reduce dust formation, and support consistent dosing. At the same time, their excellent flowability helps reduce caking and keeps dosing systems operating reliably.

For public swimming pools, this means greater operational reliability in day-to-day use. Consistent water quality depends not only on the chemicals used, but also on reliable dosing. Products that cake, flow unevenly, or create unnecessary dust can quickly lead to additional work. If caking occurs or the dosing system’s feed screw becomes blocked, operations must be interrupted and the issue resolved manually. Such interventions take time and are particularly undesirable during normal pool operation.

The extruded granule form of AQUEA White Pearls HC supports controlled, uniform dissolution and reliable dosing. This makes the product particularly suitable for systems where operational reliability, dosing accuracy, and ease of handling are key priorities.

With AQUEA White Pearls HC, public swimming pools receive a calcium hypochlorite granule that combines proven disinfection performance with a reliable product form.

Excellent flowability
Reduces caking and supports consistent dosing.

Reliable in operation
For consistent water quality and reliably operating dosing systems.

With conventionally produced granules, the particles are usually formed either through granulation or by crushing larger product pieces. In this process, fine particles are bonded together to form larger granules, or a solid product is crushed and sieved afterwards to achieve the desired particle size. Depending on the manufacturing method, particle size, shape, and fine content may vary more significantly. This can affect flowability, dust formation, and dosing performance.

In the extrusion process, by contrast, the product mass is pressed under pressure through a shaping opening. In simplified terms, it can be compared to the way a pasta machine works. The material is then processed to the desired granule size and dried. This creates a more uniform granule structure with a reduced proportion of fine particles. The individual granules are more consistent, compact, and dimensionally stable.

The result is a low-dust granule with excellent flowability and reliable dosing characteristics. For public swimming pools and professional dosing systems, this means less dust during handling, a lower tendency to cake, and more consistent dosing during operation.

These are exactly the properties that make AQUEA White Pearls HC particularly attractive for professional use.
